Planning the birth
The birth plan starts long before the birth. Through your antenatal visits, Dr. Kehail follows how your pregnancy develops and talks through the options with you: a natural delivery where that is advisable, a planned Cesarean where there are reasons for one, and what happens if plans need to change on the day.
Your preferences are part of the plan, and they are taken seriously. So is honesty. If there is a medical reason to advise one path, you will hear it explained plainly, in time to think about it.
What to expect
Toward the end of pregnancy, visits become more frequent and the plan becomes concrete: where you will deliver, what to prepare, when to come in, and how to reach the clinic when labor starts. After the birth, your postnatal follow-up continues with the doctor who knows your whole story.
